Scope: Colorist within the published and officially announced BRZRKR record.

Dave Stewart colors BRZRKR: Poetry of Madness, supporting Steve Skroce’s Atlantis with a palette suited to royal ceremony, blood, forbidden ritual, and the arrival of Cthulhu.

BRZRKR record

BOOM!’s official announcement identifies Stewart as the special’s colorist. His role is part of the one-shot’s main creative team rather than the numbered series team.

Why it matters

Color is especially important to a story that moves from apparent civic splendor into grotesque cosmic catastrophe. The tonal change helps the city’s collapse feel like the exposure of an existing rot rather than an unrelated final spectacle.

BRZRKR changes creative teams as it moves from the twelve-issue series into historical specials, prose, and announced screen work. Credit therefore belongs to a particular publication and role. A contribution to one branch does not imply work on every issue, and cover work remains distinct from interior storytelling.

Credits are most useful when they explain what changed on the finished work. Writing determines structure and language; interior art determines bodies, spaces, and visual sequence; color establishes atmosphere and separation; lettering controls the visible sound and pace of words; design and covers establish the publication’s outward identity. Each role contributes authorship without erasing the others.

Confirmed limits

Stewart is not identified by the official announcement as writer, letterer, or interior artist. Variant covers have separate credits.

Unconfirmed dates, credits, contents, formats, or story connections remain open. Later official material can extend the record, but it should not be anticipated as fact.
