Transparency · visual provenance

How visuals are
identified.

A plain-language guide to visual provenance, ownership, and the limits of an independent reference archive.

Images can help readers identify a character, edition, setting, or event. They should never be mistaken for a claim of ownership, endorsement, or affiliation.

Editorial visuals

Some visual material is created for BRZRKR Guide as editorial presentation, including page graphics, interface imagery, and site-specific illustrations. Those visuals are used to support navigation and explanation; they are not presented as official comic, film, animation, or publisher artwork.

Source-referential imagery

When a page identifies a cover, character likeness, scene, publication, creator, distributor, or adaptation, the surrounding caption, alt text, and source links describe what the archive is documenting. They do not establish a license, a commercial relationship, or approval by a rights holder.

Ownership and attribution

BRZRKR, related characters, official artwork, logos, covers, and adaptation materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. Where a source is available, the archive links readers to official publisher, distributor, studio, or creator records so the underlying work can be identified in context.

Review and replacement

Visual material may be revised, replaced, or removed when its provenance, accuracy, availability, or presentation needs correction. A caption can be corrected without changing the underlying work; a source change can require an image change. The archive favors clear identification over decorative repetition.

Reuse and independence

This page does not grant permission to reproduce any BRZRKR-related material. BRZRKR Guide is an independent reference site and is not affiliated with BOOM! Studios, Keanu Reeves, Netflix, or any other rights holder. For factual amendments, see the corrections policy; for source standards, see source standards.
