Scope: First softcover collection within the published and officially announced BRZRKR record.
BRZRKR Vol. 1 collects issues #1–4, opening the government bargain and the earliest sustained movement into B’s prehistoric origin.
BRZRKR record
The volume groups the first four monthly chapters into one reading unit. It introduces B, Diana, Caldwell, Keever, the modern program, the first missions, B’s parents, and Mother’s Gift.
Why it matters
The collection is the shortest physical entry point to the core comic while preserving the original issue sequence. It ends before the middle movement’s deeper institutional revelations.
A BRZRKR edition is a physical or digital presentation of published material. Format, contents, printing, and packaging can change while the underlying story remains the same. The useful distinction is between a new narrative, a new collection of existing narratives, and a new presentation of already published material.
Physical identification begins with the exact title, contents, publisher, format, and printing. An ISBN can distinguish a book-market edition, while an issue number, cover designation, or indicia line distinguishes a comic-market object. Those identifiers matter more than a seller’s shortened title because several official BRZRKR releases contain the same story in different forms.
Confirmed limits
The volume does not contain the complete twelve-issue story or the later historical one-shots. Cover treatment and format may vary by market.
Unconfirmed dates, credits, contents, formats, or story connections remain open. Later official material can extend the record, but it should not be anticipated as fact.
