Scope: Interior and main-cover artist within the published and officially announced BRZRKR record.
Garry Brown draws BRZRKR: The Bleeding Tide and provides its main cover, establishing the iron box, the Captain’s ship, the crew, and the supernatural danger of the maritime branch.
BRZRKR record
BOOM!’s announcement identifies Brown as the special’s artist and lists a separate group of variant-cover artists. Penguin Random House credits him as an illustrator in the Blood Oaths Vol. 1 collection.
Why it matters
The art must make B’s incomplete reconfiguration both bodily and mysterious while giving the ship a credible social life. Confined decks and open water create dangers that ordinary regeneration cannot simplify.
BRZRKR changes creative teams as it moves from the twelve-issue series into historical specials, prose, and announced screen work. Credit therefore belongs to a particular publication and role. A contribution to one branch does not imply work on every issue, and cover work remains distinct from interior storytelling.
Credits are most useful when they explain what changed on the finished work. Writing determines structure and language; interior art determines bodies, spaces, and visual sequence; color establishes atmosphere and separation; lettering controls the visible sound and pace of words; design and covers establish the publication’s outward identity. Each role contributes authorship without erasing the others.
Confirmed limits
Brown’s main-cover credit does not encompass every Bleeding Tide variant. The official announcement names those artists separately.
Unconfirmed dates, credits, contents, formats, or story connections remain open. Later official material can extend the record, but it should not be anticipated as fact.
