Scope: Event-linked cover presentations within the published and officially announced BRZRKR record.

Convention variants are issues or collections offered in connection with a named event.

BRZRKR record

The event, year, issue, artist, finish, and distributing party are the decisive identifiers. Convention branding can appear on trade dress, packaging, or an accompanying certificate.

Why it matters

These editions preserve the point where the publication met a specific public event rather than a new point in B’s fictional chronology.

Collecting information describes publication objects rather than story continuity. A foil treatment, signature, retailer logo, grading label, or new cover can make a copy distinct without adding a new event to B’s life. Official publisher and edition records carry more weight than undated resale descriptions.

A dependable description begins with facts visible on the object or stated by the publisher: issue or book title, printing, credited artist, market, finish, and packaging. Condition, signature provenance, grading, completeness, and ownership belong to the individual copy. Separating edition identity from copy condition prevents scarcity, price, and canon from being confused with one another.

Confirmed limits

An event-themed image or later resale claim does not prove convention distribution without an official event, publisher, or retailer record.

Unconfirmed dates, credits, contents, formats, or story connections remain open. Later official material can extend the record, but it should not be anticipated as fact.
